We started with one miniature horse about 10 years ago.I had always dreamed of owning one and one day A man helped me achieve that. When the prices of miniature horses were beyond my reach he made it possible and thats where this little dream started coming true.
Then I wanted to start raising them and we were on the miniature hunt. After seeking breeders and attending many miniature horse auctions. We were able to start a herd. I met a lady that sold "falabellas"and the curosity took my interest.
I found out they are rare breed on miniature horses that came from Argentina, alas Julio Falabella  brought a small herd of these rare horses with him to the United States and hence that is how the rare breed came to the States.
The falabella association only accepts horses that have ancestorial backround that trace back to the original falabella herd. The association is now located in Illonois and run by Laurie Stevens, she currently owns the largest herd of falabellas in the United States.
We have decided to try and help preserve this rare breed and hope that other people who have a love for miniaure horses will want to also.We are the only falabella farm in the state of Vermont.
